Die Leipziger Band „Wolfstavar“ spielt mitreißenden deutschsprachigen Metal mit Folkelementen wie Dudelsack, Harfe, Schalmei und Flöte.
Wolfstavar wurden im Mai 2009 gegründet und spielen nur eigens geschriebene Songs, deren Geschichten von Kobolden, nordischen Göttern, Wikingerschlachten, Saufgelagen und weiteren alten Sagen und Mythen aus vergangenen Zeiten handeln.
